The firm Bourgeois has over sixty years of know-how and experience in the field of cooking, and equipment for large kitchens and institutions.
Right from the very first enamel cookers in the 1950s, through to our new range of "Zénith" ovens, Bourgeois has continually come up with exciting new approaches.
Nowadays, this passion for innovation involves the implementation of a global eco-design approach that is the only one of its kind in the profession and involves a major research and development effort oriented towards energy saving.
The result is a new generation of products that are more cost-efficient and provide even greater safety for their users and the environment.
The Bourgeois factory covers 8,000 m2. It is located in-between the banks of Lake Annecy and Mont Blanc, in the Faverges district in Haute-Savoie.
70% of its capital is held by its employees. The remaining 30% is held by IDES (the Institute for Development of the Social Economy), SOCODEN (the Co-operative Development Company) and by COGAC (a subsidiary of Gaz de France).
